What is the nicest, kindest, most self-less or most altruistic thing you have ever done for a person, an organization, a team, an old lady, a dog, whatever? I've been thinking over my past deeds of goodness and the list is looking a little skimpy so I thought I might ask the blogosphere and see what they might come up with. Hey, maybe I'll get inspired or something...
Benticore
Out (but in a very self-less, giving way...)

I think I have given money very freely for people who have needed it. Even when money is tight, if I have dollars bills in the car and I see people on the sidewalk, I give them the change.
I have said I am sorry and meant it.
I have gone without sleep many a night helping students through really rough spots.
And I think that as a parent, you truely give of yourself to make them smile, happy, so many things.
You know, there is that argument that no deed is ever selfless, that you feel good from helping others...that you always get that even if you get nothing else. :) I find that to be an interesting debate!
For me, the latest single thing I did was buy some daipers and deliver them to this guy's baby mama. He was going to walk in the freezing cold to my house to get some of mine but I (with urging of Raquita) decided to take them to her myself. He's not gainfully employed at the moment and money is tight so it was a big deal to him. But I had to be sort of coerced into doing it...my initial reaction was to not do it but my Baby reminded me of my duties to my fellow man as a Christian and shes right...so I did it...does that count?
Sounds pretty good to me. And I am most sure the baby was as comforted as it could be by your gesture cause the baby is the most important beneficiary of your kindness. :)
